Egg Cup Set with stand - Walnut Vintage

Designed by Carl Auböck II in 1954, Egg Cup Set #4153 combines two ring-shaped egg cups in polished brass with a sculpturally turned walnut stand. The brass rings are stored one above the other on the slender wooden holder, where they form a compact and carefully proportioned table object.

The original walnut stand is a particularly distinctive feature of this edition. Produced during the 1960s, it comes from unused historic workshop stock and is offered as New Old Stock. Subtle variations in colour, grain and surface are authentic characteristics of the vintage wood. Removed from the stand, the two brass rings serve as reduced individual egg cups. After use, they return to the holder for compact storage—a solution that is both functional and elegantly characteristic of Werkstätte Carl Auböck.
