Magazine Rack black M - Brass and Cowhide Leather

This simple and timeless magazine and newspaper stand was designed by Carl Auböck II in 1949/1950 and is a characteristic example of functional Viennese modernist design.

Its reduced construction combines the warm character of brass with sturdy, high-quality leather. The clear and purposeful form demonstrates the particular quality of the design: elegant, functional and free from unnecessary detail.

The magazine stand continues to be carefully produced at the Carl Auböck Workshop in Vienna. The core leather is available in black or, on request, in brown. The version offered here features black core leather.
