Description
This bookend set „Rainbow“, reissued in May 2024, was designed by Carl Auböck III in 1968 and is now being produced again in the workshop of Carl Auboeck. This design was rediscovered in the workshop archives at the beginning of January 2024 as part of research for the exhibition "ICONIC AUBÖCK" in the MAK Museum in Vienna. So a wonderful premiere.

Material: Brass patinated and brass polished.
Info: The mostly patinated surface must only be carefully wiped with a dry cloth and never treated with cleaning agents. If you like, you can treat it afterwards for example with a linseed oil. After some time a patina can develop on the polished brass surface, which can be polished off with a soft cloth and then brass polish - if desired.
