Sculpture "Napoleon" Brass patinated + polished

The "Napoleon" sculpture was designed by Carl Auböck II in 1953 and is a particularly original, maritime-inspired design. Its elongated, reduced form evokes a small boat and once again demonstrates Auböck's ability to transform a simple form into a distinctive design object.

"Napoleon" can be displayed freely as a sculptural object or mounted on the wall. At the same time, the design has a practical second function: thanks to its weight, it also works beautifully as a paperweight.

The sculpture continues to be produced in Austria using the original sand-casting moulds. The brass is patinated, while the edges are partially polished. The combination of dark patina and highlighted brass edges emphasises the characteristic form of the design.
