“Catch All” bowl with hand - Polished brass + patinated

An object of quiet elegance and, at the same time, a piece of contemporary Auböck history: the "Catch All" with Hand was designed by Carl Auböck IV in late 2025, bringing the long tradition of the Vienna Workshop into the present in a surprisingly personal way.

The sculpture consists of two screwed-together parts, combining a stylised hand with a small bowl. The hand is fully polished, while the bowl is patinated on the inside and polished on the outside. The result is a striking interplay between polished brass and darker patina.

Whether used for keys, jewellery, coins or other small personal objects, the "Catch All" is at once a functional object, a sculpture and a quiet companion for everyday life.

Perhaps one day it will be considered a new Auböck icon. For us, it certainly has the potential.
