Desk Clock "Atom" - Cast Brass patinated + polished

The "Atom" table clock by Carl Auböck IV is an exceptional example of how the design language of the Auböck Workshop continues into the present day. Designed in 2014, the clock is based on the distinctive form of the "Atom II" vase #3854, designed by Carl Auböck II in 1953.

Made from patinated brass, the clock combines the sculptural presence of a small Auböck object with the everyday function of a table clock. Its compact, organic form has an almost sculptural quality, making the "Atom" a distinctive design object even beyond its practical purpose.

The table clock is produced at the Carl Auböck Workshop in Vienna and individually finished by hand. Its characteristic patina and carefully worked surfaces give each piece its individual character.
