Bitossi Rimini Blu Plate D29 L

A pool of intense blue contained within a low circular form: Aldo Londi’s 29-centimetre Rimini Blu plate brings colour and texture to the table without overwhelming its surroundings.

Hand-impressed circles, lines and abstract marks move across the shallow surface. The crystalline glaze gathers within them, creating varied concentrations of turquoise, marine blue and cobalt.

Its versatile scale makes the plate suitable for fruit, a considered group of small objects or simply as a decorative centrepiece. Left empty, its pattern remains fully visible and becomes the focus.

Each plate is decorated and glazed by hand in Italy. Natural differences in colour, texture and finish give every example its own appearance.
