Bitossi Rimini Blu Fruit Bowl XL

Generous in both scale and volume, Aldo Londi’s Rimini Blu Fruit Bowl was designed to occupy the centre of the table. Its broad opening and softly curved sides comfortably hold fruit, vegetables or shared dishes.

Hand-impressed geometric motifs cover the ceramic surface. Beneath the brilliant crystalline glaze, the pattern develops changing concentrations of turquoise, marine blue and dark cobalt.

Measuring 33.5 centimetres in diameter and 15 centimetres high, the bowl has a reassuring weight and stability. Filled or empty, it brings a strong field of colour to a dining table, kitchen island or sideboard.

Each bowl is wheel-turned, decorated and glazed by hand in Italy. Natural variations in pattern and finish ensure that every example is individual.
