The young and talented Austrian designer Katharina Eisenkoeck has been living and working in Hackney, East London for more than 10 years - the epicenter of young design in England.
The revival of traditional craft techniques is an integral part of Katharina Eisenkoeck's work. Her approach to design and production is a very personal one. Katharina Eisenkoeck experiments mainly with materials as concrete, leather and stone and several techniques and forms and produces every piece by herself - a real maker!
