Carafe Alpha "Crack" Glass - clear

A dramatic fracture appears to run across this featherlight Alpha carafe. The glass, however, is perfectly intact: the “crack” is an intricate hand engraving conceived by New York design authority Murray Moss in 2017.

Applied to Hans Harald Rath’s balanced 1952 Alpha form, the unexpected motif turns apparent damage into ornament. Fragility becomes visual theatre and imperfection becomes the most precious detail. Both functional carafe and witty conversation piece, it is available with further crack patterns on request.
