Therefore, we process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable statutory provisions (EU General Data Protection Regulation DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in our activities.
The use of our website is usually possible without the provision of personal data. Should you, for example to enter personal information in order to contact us or to subscribe to a newsletter, we pass on the necessary information to companies that process data on our behalf (for example, sending the newsletter). We only commission companies that comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
1. Contact with us
If you contact us by a form on our website, by e-mail or in another ways, the data you provide (name, e-mail address and optional telephone number) will be used to process the request and in the case of Follow-up questions stored for one year with us. If the conversation results into a contract, the statutory retention periods apply. We will not share this information without your agreement.
2. Data Storage
For the purpose of accounting, the following data of our customers are stored at us: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, VAT ID, also your bank details, if given to us.
Such data will not be shared, except for transmission to the settling bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting, as well as to our accountant for accounting purposes and to fulfill our tax obligations. The data is stored exclusively within the EU. These data are required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we can not conclude and fulfill the contract with you.
All other data collected for this purpose will not be shared with third parties.
All data from a contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the tax retention period (7 years).
3. Newsletter
You have the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree with the subscription to the newsletter. Once you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm the registration. Accordingly, the data processing takes place on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6_1_a (consent) of the GDPR.
You can cancel the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: hello@contemporum.com or use the corresponding link at the end of the newsletter. We will immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.
4. Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do no harm.
We use cookies to make our offer more user-friendly. In particular, cookies are necessary for the function of the shopping cart and for the allocation of online payments in the webshop. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

5. Server Logs/Logfiles
The server from which our website is provided stores information that is automatically transmitted to us by your browser in so-called log files. These are as follows: Browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL (ie the page from which you came to us), the IP address of the accessing computer and the time of the request.
These data are only for the technical monitoring of the web server (utilization, optimization, error detection, security) and are absolutely necessary. They are not connected to other data sources, so they cannot be assigned to individuals. They will be deleted after three months.
6. Google Analytics
Our website is using Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics is currently not being merged with any other data provided by Google.
